EYES SET TO KILL

Sounds Like: Bless The Fall, Flyleaf, Atreyu, A Day to Remember, old Paramore.

Firework Cover

I actually prefer this to Katy Perry’s original version. Alex Goot and Tyler Ward have some incredible talent, check out their other covers/songs on YouTube.

THE NARRATIVE

Interesting cover version of a song from the band Brand New.

THE DAMNED THINGS (supergroup consisting of members from Fall Out Boy, Anthrax, and Every Time I Die)

Sounds Like: Originality.

The Morning Of

I can’t believe a major label hasn’t picked these guys up. I honestly can’t remember the last time a record gave me goosebumps. The way they blend melodies and harmonies with both the vocals and instruments is wonderful.

THE BOY AND HIS MACHINE

You Like? You’ll Like: The Starting Line; Hit The Lights; Fall Out Boy

ALL TIME LOW

Rember back in 2002, when the summers were carefree and endless, you couldn’t wait for the Warped Tour? Nothing Personal, the third album from All Time Low will bring you back in a good way. Enlisting an amazing cast of super producers (Matt Squire, Butch Walker, David Bendeth, S*A*M & Sluggo, The-Dream, and Tom Lord-Alge) and with a new album set for release in early 2011, they should explode just like Fall Out Boy and Paramore did.

Personal favorites: Weightless, Break Your Little Heart, Keep The Change You Filthy Animal.

Sounds Like: Blink-182, Hit The Lights, The Starting Line, Third Eye Blind

A SKYLIT DRIVE (Fearless Records)

This dudes bring intense energy. A perfect band for the gym.

Sounds Like: Underoath, Coheed and Cambria, Alesana
